7. AI and Forecasting Disclaimer
Our AI provides insights and projections based on your financial data. However:
- Not financial advice: Our insights are informational, not professional financial advice
- Forecasts aren't guarantees: Predictions are based on historical data and may not reflect future reality
- AI can make mistakes: While we strive for accuracy, AI isn't perfect
- Use your judgment: Always consider your unique situation before making financial decisions
- Consult professionals: For major financial decisions, consult a certified financial advisor
You use Cashflow.fit's insights at your own risk. We're not liable for financial decisions you make based on our forecasts or recommendations.
8. Data Accuracy
We rely on data from Plaid and your connected institutions. While we strive for accuracy:
- Data may be delayed or incomplete due to bank APIs
- Transaction categorization may occasionally be incorrect
- We're not responsible for errors from third-party data providers
If you notice errors, please let us know at support@cashflow.fit
9. Intellectual Property
Cashflow.fit (including our app, website, logo, and content) is owned by us. You're granted a limited license to use the service, but you don't own any part of it.
Your data is yours. We don't claim ownership of your financial information. You grant us permission to use it to provide and improve our service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability
We work hard to keep Cashflow.fit running smoothly, but:
- We don't guarantee 100% uptime
- We may need to perform maintenance (we'll try to warn you first)
- Third-party services (Plaid, banks) may experience outages beyond our control
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice
11. Termination

We May Suspend or Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these terms

- We detect fraudulent or illegal activity
- We're legally required to do so
We'll try to give you notice when possible, but immediate termination may be necessary for security or legal reasons.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We're not liable for any financial losses resulting from your use of Cashflow.fit
- We're not responsible for errors in forecasts or AI recommendations
- We're not liable for third-party service failures (Plaid, banks, etc.)
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100, whichever is greater)
Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
- Your violation of these terms
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
14. Dispute Resolution
Contact Us First
If you have a problem, please reach out to support@cashflow.fit. We're reasonable people and want to resolve issues amicably.
Binding Arbitration
If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you agree to binding arbitration instead of court. Arbitration is faster and less expensive than lawsuits.
Exception: You can bring claims in small claims court if they qualify.
No Class Actions
You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action lawsuit.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes:

- Severability: If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a term doesn't waive our right to enforce it later
